Reconciled date reference · 2026 only. Covered dates: 2026-01-01–2026-12-31. This reference combines the named sources and calendar rules. It is not an annual government publication and does not establish dates outside its stated year.
Covered by this calendar
A 2026 reference compiled from Article 23 of the published consolidated Arbeidsregeling 2000 and the Curaçao Tourist Board’s dated 2026 event notices. The table preserves Pentecost Sunday and Kingdom Day from Article 23, and identifies the separate tourism-board basis for 10 October. It is a reconciliation of named sources, not a newly issued government annual calendar.
- The Arbeidsregeling has worker, employer and sector exclusions. A listed date does not determine personal paid leave, a work roster, store opening hours or a statutory deadline.
- No complete search for every later ministerial exception or additional holiday decree is represented. Article 23 allows the Carnival and 2 July dates to be moved and permits additional holidays by decree.
- The government service portal’s dated table corresponds to 2023. Its dates are not reused as a 2026 calendar; its New Year’s Eve closing-hours guidance is not turned into a full-day holiday.
- No substitute Monday, Pentecost Monday, general business-day total or 2027 schedule is inferred. Check the relevant authority or service for your particular use.
Date checks and exports run in your browser. Your selected dates are not sent to Contifield.

Sources used to compile this reference
The following sources and stated calendar rules were reconciled for the 2026 reference. It does not automatically create a future edition or incorporate an unpublished change.
- Government of Curaçao: consolidated Arbeidsregeling 2000 — P.B. 2022 no. 123 (GT), Article 23; scope exclusions in Articles 1–3. Published 2022-12-06. Source checked 2026-10-24.
- Curaçao Tourist Board: Grand Carnival Parade 2026 — Main parade dated 15 February 2026; following-day rule from Article 23(1)(b). Publication date not stated here. Source checked 2026-10-24.
- Curaçao Tourist Board: King’s Day 2026 — Celebration dated 27 April 2026. Publication date not stated here. Source checked 2026-10-24.
- Curaçao Tourist Board: Autonomous Day 2026 — 10 October 2026 described as an official holiday; separate from the Article 23 list. Publication date not stated here. Source checked 2026-10-24.
- Government service portal: holiday guidance and older dated table — Used to explain the source discrepancy; its dated table is for 2023, not 2026. Publication date not stated here. Source checked 2026-10-24.
This reference intentionally shows the source differences. An older website table does not override the explicit wording of the published consolidated legislation.
The five Easter-related dates are Gregorian calendar calculations for 2026 applied to the named statutory observances. Carnival is tied to the separately published 2026 main parade, rather than inferred solely from Easter.
Exports retain every entry’s source note and all scope exclusions. This edition will remain a dated archive after 31 December 2026; it does not silently become the next year’s calendar.
Year-end archives retain their original source scope and provisional labels. For a later year or an amended schedule, use a separately verified publication.
