CSV delimiter converter
Change comma, semicolon, tab or pipe delimiters without breaking quoted fields or embedded line breaks.
Runs on your device · No upload
How to use it
- Choose the delimiter actually used in the source file.
- Choose the output delimiter and convert.
- Check the field-count report before downloading. Uneven rows are retained and reported.
Parse fields before changing separators
A comma inside a quoted field is data, and a newline inside a quoted field does not end the record. This converter parses quoted fields and doubled quote characters before writing the selected delimiter. Every output field is quoted; output record separators are CRLF.
Keep irregular rows visible
Rows with different field counts are retained. The report identifies their row numbers so you can decide whether the source needs repair. Unclosed quotes and stray text after a closing quote cause an error instead of a guessed repair.
The tool treats every field as text. It does not infer dates, decimal separators, currency values or column types.

Files and pasted values are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded, stored in your URL or saved to browser storage. Download the result if you want to keep it. CSV exports are limited to 1,000,000 cells and 20 MiB; large or sparse tables must be split. The site records aggregate page requests as described in the privacy policy.
