Source, range and interpretation
Results come from the ordinary public conversion used by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute’s lunar–solar converter. The national open-data catalogue for KASI lunar/solar information identifies an unrestricted reuse scope. This site uses the public website response, not a private service key.
The supported Gregorian range is 1582-10-15 through 2050-12-31. The source also handles older historical Julian-calendar dates; this tool deliberately begins at the Gregorian reform boundary so that “Gregorian date” has one meaning. Corresponding supported lunar inputs run from 1582 month 9 day 19 through 2050 month 11 day 18. The source must confirm whether a requested leap month or thirtieth day exists.
A normal source check is due after 24 hours. A saved conversion may be shown for up to seven days after a transport failure, marked stale with its original check time. A changed source format, identity or numeric consistency blocks saved results. No fallback calendar algorithm is substituted.
These are civil dates, not instants. The integer Julian day number is a consistency reference, not an event time. This page does not infer a birthday recurrence, age, holiday, memorial rule, fortune or a time-zone conversion. CSV preserves the exact source and status; ICS creates all-day Gregorian events. Imported files do not update automatically.
