Dobra and euro reference converter

The reviewed euro relationship in modern dobras, with a separate historical old-to-new denomination equation. Inputs stay in your browser.

Fixed relationship reviewed 2026-10-25; the reference table was dated 2026-10-23. The separate old-to-new denomination equation has its own effective date. This is not a continuously updated retail quote.

Use a decimal point without thousands separators. Up to 30 whole-number digits and 12 decimal places.

Choose a source column or series to show its equation.

Changing direction reverses the selected equation. It does not switch a buying reference to a selling reference.

The euro relationship is 1 EUR = 24.5 modern dobras (STN). The old 24,500-dobra figure belongs to the pre-2018 denomination and is not used as a modern STN amount.

The 2018 reform equates 1,000 old dobras with one modern dobra. The historical unit calculation does not imply that old notes can now be redeemed or spent.

The BCSTP reform guidance says not to round the decimal portion of exchange calculations. The exact fraction in this tool and its CSV is the unrounded mathematical reference; any 12-place decimal is only a labeled display approximation.

This is a reviewed fixed reference relationship, not a live retail offer. Confirm the source and provider terms before an exchange.

These reference calculations do not include transaction availability, fees, taxes, provider spreads or settlement rules. Confirm your provider’s actual terms and the applicable date before an exchange or payment.

Exact arithmetic and dated exports

The calculation preserves your decimal input and both sides of the published equation as exact fractions. The result always includes the exact numerator and denominator. A decimal display longer than 12 places is rounded half up and clearly labeled as a display approximation. Mathematical precision does not define cash denominations, transaction precision or settlement rounding.

Copy and CSV exports include the source date, selected column or series, equation and source link. They are dated snapshots. Editing a selection or amount clears the old result and export controls.

This page does not fetch new rates. Dated editions older than seven local calendar days remain available as historical references and are removed from the indexable sitemap. The explicitly reviewed fixed relationship has a separate policy and keeps its review date visible.
