NWU NSC admission points calculator · 2027 reference

Calculate the six-subject NSC score using NWU’s current point bands, excluding Life Orientation and preserving separate programme requirements.

NWU NSC score reference

Choose your six best eligible Grade 11 or Grade 12 NSC subjects, excluding Life Orientation, and enter their whole-number percentages. This uses the eight-point scale on NWU’s NSC calculator, checked 2026-10-25, together with the six-subject rule in its 2027 prospectus.

The maximum for these six inputs is 48. Programme subject requirements, minimum marks, selection and available places remain separate. This result is a score reference, not an admission decision. Pre-2008 Senior Certificates, international qualifications and other universities need their own rules.

NWU official NSC calculator · 2027 Grade 12 prospectus, page 6 · NWU conversion guidance.

The current calculator assigns eight points at 90–100%. A separate NWU applicant blog groups 80–100% into seven points; this tool follows the current calculator’s explicit NSC bands. Ask NWU to confirm any admission decision affected by that source difference.
